Inspiration: an unconscious burst of creativity in a literary, musical, or other artistic endeavour. Literally, the word means “breathed upon”.
The Muses (Ancient Greek αἱ μοῦσαι, hai moũsai:[1] perhaps from the o-grade of the Proto-Indo-European root *men- ”think”[2]) in Greek mythology, poetry, and literature, are the goddesses who inspire the creation of literature and the arts. They were considered the source of the knowledge, related orally for centuries in the ancient culture, that was contained in poetic lyrics and myths.
However you may view leadership, it is definately a burst of creativity “breathing upon” others to create and envision. Leaders are considered the source of the knowledge and creativity. Most humans feel life to be easier staying within the status quo or keeping up with the “Jones’s”. Are you keeping up with the Jones’s?
I imply that life cannot be as simple as the Jones’s. It’s not an establishment created by humans to feel more comfortable applying excusses to things we do or not do based on others decisions or views.
I say it’s a winding road full of challenges, you never know what could be around the next bend. Great leadership straightens the road for everyone to vision how we should tackle the challenges and make the turns less difficult.
Maybe the Greeks were right! Be a “Muse”, thinking outside the establishment and become a great leaders. There will always be Joneses to lead!
